Do justice, love mercy, walk humbly.

What steps did it take to get you to where you are now?

Being a person who is constantly curious, every step has truly brought me enlightenment, growth, and experience. Trying new things is my trademark, I am a jack of all trades. I have loved the seasons where I have had the opportunity to learn something new. Whether that is relational, practising sustainable behaviours and lifestyle choices, investing in hobbies, disciplining myself to choose my spiritual and health needs over things of lesser importance or travelling.

How do you stand out in your field?

If there is one thing that sets me apart from other leaders, mentors, and counsellors it is that I choose mercy over judgement, no matter what. I want to saturate my work place and relationships with grace, second chances, understanding and compassion. True leaders don't look for opportunities to use people to further themselves, they look for opportunities to serve and I hope this is evident when you interact with me.

Why do you do what you do? How does this help your ideal client?

Being a crisis counsellor has been one of the most gratifying and life-giving positions I've had the honour of being in. Mentoring women who want to follow their dreams is incredibly inspiring. Most of the time the surface goal looks like a certain career or being a mother, but most individuals just want to be their best self and I love being a part of that process. I also absolutely love working for the Founder of The Well, Tammy. Being able to work with big picture goals and be trusted to make sure things run smoothly is amazing. There is so much freedom in this place.

What type of collaborations are you looking for? Are collabs of interest to you?

I enjoy intimate settings and one on one interactions. If you're looking for someone to bounce off a great business plan, or an entrepreneurial venture I'm your gal. I've been a part of so many incredible starts including music, design, fashion and other arts, and I would love to help if I can. I love fashion design and sewing so if you have this interest too, send me a message! Also, a lover of small curated dinner parties with whole foods and hand crafted decor. If this is your dream, I am here for it.

What is your numero uno way to get inspired?

Live music. Hands down, touring across North America for two months was the most inspiring season of my life. I will catch quality live music whenever I can but especially if I'm in a slump.

What would you tell yourself at the start of your career to help ease your anxieties?

You can learn anything. Be courageous. Be humble. Show mercy.

Do you have a personal vision or mission that propels you forward in life? Something you live by.

Keep moving forward even if that means being still.

What needs revamping in your life or career right now?

Balance. I'm currently trying to take time for exercise, balanced meal planning, rest and creativity amidst the hustle.

Who inspires you, or mentors you?

I am really inspired by music and fashion even in areas of work that are unrelated to the arts. Listening to individuals like Cory Wong, Vulfpeck, Chance the Rapper, Phoebe Bridgers and Third Story really ground me, and designers like Cecilie Bahnsen, Eliza Faulkner, and Meghan Nielsen make my mind light. Brene Brown is another person that I really look up to and I admire. Danny Silk is an another author and speaker that I have really been influenced by.

What’s your favourite project you’re working on at this time?

Designing and sewing an autumn wardrobe that feels cozy, looks stunning, and is not wasteful.
