WHAT STEPS DID IT TAKE YOU TO GET WHERE YOU ARE NOW?

It has been 10 years since I moved from Mexico to Canada and the identity crisis kicks in. It’s a weird feeling of not really knowing where do you fit in or how do you fit in. It’s a constant feeling of not really knowing how to define myself. So here I am now, trying to hold onto my roots while extending my wings and try to fly. I feel that I can’t let go of my mexicanity that ironically I found when I left my home country. Me and my bi-cultural life.

HOW DO YOU STAND OUT IN YOUR FIELD?

I'm an odd combination of creative and logical brain. Accountant and graphic designer with photographer aspirations. I work better when I have the opportunity to switch from using one side of my brain to the other

WHAT TYPES OF COLLABORATIONS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR RIGHT NOW?

yes, looking for personal growth. To collaborate in creating real honest connections with other women in the city

WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOUR YOUNGER SELF?

Remember to always take time to stop and admire where you are

WHAT NEEDS REVAMPING IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW?

the list is long... but mainly trying to find who I am as a woman, finding mentors, finding other people with same vision

WHO INSPIRES YOU?

Maya Angelou, Michelle Obama, Frida Khalo, Cleo Wade, Mary Oliver

WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

my writing on 10 years living in Canada
